The Jackie Newton Show
The Jackie Newton Show was a brainstorm, an idea, a crazy sweat-soaked dream that Jackie cooked up for some strange reason. Now how could she develop a full-on one-crazy-woman band with a kick? Jackie began entertaining in the music world when she was a young thirty-six year old. She auditioned for a show at the Lodge of Four Seasons (Missouri) using her talents as a country-line dance instructor and "steam-shower," closet singer. She got the job; she was as surprised as the rest of you. There she developed her ROUGH abilities as a vocalist/entertainer. Being the goofy propster she is, Jackie soon became unhappy that she could not expand her efforts as a comic, so she quit for bigger and goofier endeavors. Jackie became a Karaoke DJ and began experimenting with props comedy and some stand-up comedy "small-bits." There she was crowned Queen of Karaoke, a title which still haunts her today since her show is NOT KARAOKE!!!! Jackie decided to take music medleys, large props, stand-up comedy and her dancing/clowning abilities and wrap the show into one! She has been entertaining audiences, convention centers, organizations and tourists for over fifteen years now. Her show includes music vocals of all time periods (although this little classic rocker has favorites), props comedy, stand-up routines and is the all-time CONGA LINE CHAMPION! Jackie has performed for clubs, resorts, fine-dining restaurants, private parties and large conventions in St. Louis, Kansas City, Breckinridge, Colorado, Arizona and several cities and towns in the Midwest. She performs predominantly in the Lake of the Ozarks in Central Missouri. Jackie has been told that her specialty is spontaneous comedy and interaction with the audience. No faint of heart audience members will survive her show! This year, Jackie will train with comedy coaches from Los Angeles, CA to expand her dream of doing standup comedy circuits. If you are related to jackie or have been a significant other from the past, Jackie is not responsible for any comic information she might divulge. THAT’S YOU MOM... YOU LITTLE TEXAS TORNADO!

Sparkie the Clown
Sparkie the Clown was "born" at Windemere Convention Center in beautiful Lake of the Ozarks. This seminar involves hundreds of professional clowns from all over the nation and beyond. Jackie (Sparkie) is a childlike Auguste clown with a small voice and a big heart! Sparkie has had the wonderful pleasure of training at several workshops and camps including the Mooseburger Clown Training Camp in Minnesota under the instruction of professional Ringling Bros. Clowns. Sparkie belongs to the World Clown Association and has been a clown instructor for Windemere clown groups as well as young children in summer training classes. Sparkie has performed with some of the greatest entertainers in the nation, including Rich the Clown, magician and magical engineer, Mark-Oh the goofiest clown on earth, Rufus D. Dufus, famed Ohio extraordinaire, The Mooseburger gang including Frosty Little (my instructor) and Pricilla, Dolly and Cheri! For the eleventh year, Jackie (Sparkie) will perform as one of the clown troupe members at the Emmett Kelly Jr. Festival in Houston, Missouri with Emmett Kelly Jr. and Joey. Mark-oh, Rufus, Rich and Sparkie will "giggle" audiences with their zany acts and Rich’s FAMOUS FALLS! In 1999, Rich and Sparkie appeared briefly (acting silly of course) on a PBS special about Emmett Kelly Jr. and Houston, MO. Sparkie performs for many organizations, especially important charities like the Child Advocacy, COPS (Concerns of Police Survivors), Police Appreciation, American Cancer Society, American Heart Association and several local benefits for the community of Lake of the Ozarks. Her favorite fun is parade performance… her favorite saying to “Paraders” sitting on their car is, "Excuse me, but are you a hood ornament?" Her famous saying is "Be Cool, Don't Drool and keep your Top Knot up so you won’t fall over!"
